Join us for evenings of coding challenges to sharpen your coding skills!
Being an active member of the Grow With Code Code-a-thon community allows your student to participate in many different challenges and projects. Each evening, an instructor will guide students through a coding challenge to create animations, basic games, interactive learning tools and more! Students will have a chance to practice time management, project management and working with others to complete their projects on time. Code-a-thons are a great way to sharpen coding skills for kids while meeting other students who are interested in coding. Plus, this is a great way for parents to enjoy a night out too!

Usual Evening Schedule
Available to schedule 7 days a week. (minus some holidays)
- 6:30pm - Drop Off
- 6:30-6:45pm - Introductions / Instruction
- 6:45-8:45pm - Project Time
- Students will be mentored through the process
- Students may work in teams for real world project management experience.
- 8:45-9:00pm - Demonstrations
- Parents are encourages to join us for project presentations!
- 9:00pm - Farewell!
Coding Challenges will cover many different topics and will be completed in the Scratch coding environment.

All Code-a-thons will be Ranked for different skill levels.
Our Ranking system allows students to know which classes will be effective to attend based on their skill level. To earn a rank, students must be able to demonstrate functional problem solving skills using computer science, mathematics and design.
